It's safe to say that 99% of all cat owners have more pictures of their cats on their phones than they do of themselves. It's just a natural part of being a feline pawrent. You snap a quick pic of them while they're sleeping in an awwdorably silly position, when they're in the middle of a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig stretch, when they're playing with something, when they're upset that you sneezed from the other room… the list goes on and on. Most of them end up being blurry or not as cute as you thought they would be, but you still can't make yourself delete them.

On the other hand, we all have a saved folder of our furvorite pics of our fluffy felines. You know the ones we're talking about - the ones where they look like the supermeowdel they are. When the light hits them just right or when they're looking purrfectly at the camera, we call these their "Tinder pics" because if they had a Tinder account, these would be the ones they would use.

What's the ratio of the average cat purrtrait to a "Tinder pic"? It really depends on your cat and your photography skills, but we'd say about 1 in 30. That means that for every one good picture you get of your cat's peak cuteness, you have about 29 unsuccessful ones that you don't really need but can't get rid of.

That's why this prompt above is always so purrfectly entertaining. Seeing what every pawrents' last picture of their cat in their camera roll is tells you a lot about the cat and their owner. Sometimes they're silly, sometimes they're pawsitively unrecognizable, and every once in a while, you get a meowrvelous gem of a feline purrtrait.

If you're lucky, you can even get a pic of the whole feline family! Do you have any idea how hard it is to actually get all your cats in one photo, let alone all looking at the camera? This purrtrait should be hung in a museum somewhere.
